21st Century Teaching and Learning with Technology


A new course is being offered at University of Southern Maine

WORKSHOP TOPICS
• Searching, Researching, and Managing Online Information
• Adding Digital Media to Writing and Presentations of Learning
• Learning Together Online
• Assistive Technology for RTI and Universal Design for Learning
• Problem-solving and Real World Learning

This series of workshops can be taken singly (0.5 CEUs each - 3.0 CEUs all five) or combined into a 3 Credit Inservice Graduate Credit Course. Each workshop consists of a Saturday session for 4 hours followed by 1.5 hours of online assignments and a wrap-up session on a subsequent Saturday for 2 hours. This series is designed for educators looking to expand their use of digital technology to include innovative learning explorations.

Inservice Graduate Credit Course Option

EPS 512 21st Century Teaching and Learning with Technology
Participants may take all 5 workshops as a single 500-level inservice graduate course. This option must be chosen prior to beginning the workshop series. In addition to the workshop meeting dates/times, 10 hours of additional online course work will be required to receive graduate credit.
